The Arctic which includes oil, fish, diamonds and shipping routes has become known after the climate change on warming ice cap, due to greenhouse gases. This affects the native population and wildlife.
Each one of the following countries (Canada, Russia, Denmark and Norway) are pursuing claims for sea-bad and control 25% or more of the new gas and oil.
Also, because of the new studies which say that the ice could melt within 10-15 years rather than 100 years, all of the countries are trying to take its rights up to island bordering the Arctic.
Furthermore, there are other issues such as environmental problem since the oil spills resulting to disasters on animal life and for sure influencing the fish and fish rights.
Finally, the rights of people who lived there for centuries will be affected.
